University of Nairobi in conjunction with the World Food Preservation Center have the honor to host the First 1st All-Africa Post Harvest Congress and Exhibition which is scheduled to be held from 28th to 31st March, 2017 at the Safari Park Hotel. Nairobi, Kenya.
The Cabinet Secretary of Agriculture is scheduled to open the Congress whose theme is Reducing Food Losses and Waste: Sustainable Solutions for Africa.
The Congress will draw attendance from over 500 participants including researchers, academics, farmers, development agencies, civil society and policy makers. The world renowned speakers will present and discuss latest topics with the overall objective of identifying effective interventions to reduce FLW on the continent.
